Truss setting is a rhythm job. The crane is not the expensive part of the day; an idle framing crew is. That is why we would rather talk through the sequence before we arrive than figure it out on site with six guys on the clock.

Broward is our home county and the one we know street by street. The yard is in West Park, which puts Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Miramar and Fort Lauderdale all inside a short run, and Coral Springs or Deerfield at the far end of an easy morning.

The building stock is split. South and central Broward is full of 1960s and 70s single-family homes with flat or low-slope roofs, carports and narrow side yards, which is where the spider crane and the 17-ton boom truck do most of their work. Downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beach strip are a different job entirely: mid-rise and high-rise decks, valet loading zones and a lot of coordination with building management.

Because we are based here, Broward jobs are the ones we can most often slot in same-week, and the ones where an urgent morning call has the best chance of getting a yes.
