Crane Rental

Cooper Crane runs operated crane rental: the machine, the operator, the rigging and the signaling all come together as one job. We do not drop a bare crane in your lot and drive off. That is how most South Florida contractors want it, because it means one call, one crew and one number, and nobody on your side has to hold a crane certification.

The fleet covers the whole residential and light commercial range. The 2-ton mini spider crane tracks through a 36-inch gate for indoor and tight-access work. The 17-ton boom truck is the everyday machine for AC sets, roofing loads, tarps and sheds. The 35-ton boom truck adds reach and heavier single picks, and the 40-ton mobile crane is our heaviest lift for steel, generator sets and full truss packages.

The fleet, by the numbers

  2-ton mini spider crane. Fits a standard 36-inch gate, tracks on rubber pads, sets up indoors, in courtyards and on plaza decks. Glass, hot tubs, indoor equipment, gated backyards.

  17-ton boom truck. The workhorse. Drives to the job like a truck, sets up in a driveway, done with most single picks inside two hours.

  35-ton boom truck. Longer reach for deep lots, second-row buildings and heavier commercial rooftop units.

  40-ton mobile crane. Our heaviest machine. Long-span truss packages, structural steel, generator sets high up and anything the boom trucks cannot stretch to.

What crane rental costs

We do not publish a day rate, and it is not because we are hiding one. Three things move the price on every job: which machine your load needs, how long we are on site, and how far the yard is from you. A 17-ton truck on a two-hour residential AC set in Hollywood and a 40-ton crane on a full-day truss set in West Palm Beach are not the same job, and a single posted number would be wrong for both.

What you get instead is a firm number on the call, before anything is booked. Tell us the weight, the height, the reach and the address. We spec the smallest machine that safely does the job, quote the whole window rather than nickel-and-diming each pick, and the operator is already included, so there is no separate line for one.
